Mountain View High School Hosts VEX Robotics Competition
Mountain View High School hosted 19 area schools (11 High Schools, 8 middle schools) for a VEX Robotics Competition on Saturday, November 16, 2019.
The VEX Robotics Competition, presented by the Robotics Education and Competition Foundation, is an exciting engineering challenge where students build innovative robots and compete throughout the year.
Thirty teams from area high schools challenged one another in the VEX Robotics Competition, Tower Takeover, and 24 middle school teams competed in the VEX IQ Challenge, Squared Away.
The VEX Robotics Competition not only prepares students to become future innovators, students also hone their engineering skills as well as learn teamwork, communication, project management and critical thinking.
High School tournament awardees qualify for the State/Regional Championship CREATE U.S. Open: Hanks HS, Harmony, Yslela HS, and Clint HS.
